PROJECT: GRIZZLYFEST '18 MEDIA CAMPAIGN

SPRING 2018

As part of our ongoing relationship with I.A.N group, my production company, Bronko Roboto, was commissioned to produce the screen content for the Grizzlyfest Music Festival in 2018. This included art direction, activations, highlight/recap video, commercials, web design, social media and print art for billboards and various official merchandise.

MEET GRIZZ LEE

This year's festival was about extending the identity of the Grizzlyfest brand. With that in mind, The IAN Group wanted to create a character that embodied the youthful and fun-loving spirit of the festival.  I recruited the talents of a few digital animators and after a handful of iterations, we created the bear avatar you see below.  Meet Grizz Lee. His likeness was translated across a handful of mediums from digital model, to print, to a  3-dimensional inflatable that became a popular photo op at the two-day event.

In subsequent years, we plan to expand the narrative surrounding Grizz Lee. We've carefully positioned him to become a key element in Grizzlyfest's branding strategy.
